Peter F. de Vos
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Peter F. de Vos serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TVIG where he provides strategic leadership and oversight across the company’s operations, growth initiatives, and partnerships within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Before joining TVIG, Mr. de Vos spent eight years as Head of U.S. Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking division of Royal Bank of Canada, one of the world’s largest financial institutions. In this role, he led the firm’s U.S. investment banking platform, building a high-performing team recognized by Investment Dealers Digest as “Mid-Market Investment Bank of the Year.” He joined RBC in 2001 following its acquisition of Dain Rauscher Wessels, where he served as Head of Investment Banking and played a key role in the firm’s successful integration. Earlier in his career, Mr. de Vos held senior roles at Stephens Inc., Alex. Brown & Sons, and Morgan Stanley. Mr. de Vos began his professional career in the United States Navy following his graduation with merit from the U.S. Naval Academy. As a nuclear-trained submarine officer, he was licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to operate nuclear reactors and served aboard two submarines. He later held a leadership role in Washington, D.C., managing assignments for nuclear-trained submarine officers across the fleet. After completing his military service, Mr. de Vos earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar, recognizing academic excellence and leadership. He currently serves on the Board of the United States Naval Academy Foundation and previously served on the Board of Trustees of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
David Thompson
VP of Wind Construction
David Thompson brings over 25 years of construction experience, with deep specialization in utility-scale renewable energy projects. Since 2007, he has contributed to the successful delivery of approximately 2.9 GW of wind energy capacity across North America, positioning him as a highly experienced leader in both greenfield development and repowering of wind assets. David has extensive expertise across the full lifecycle of large-scale EPC projects, including civil works, substations, transmission lines, collection systems, and turbine erection. His experience spans new builds as well as the upgrade and repowering of existing wind farms, where he applies a disciplined approach to execution while optimizing performance, extending asset life, and minimizing operational disruption. Currently serving as Vice President of Wind Construction at TVIG., David oversees strategic execution and operational performance across multiple projects, including repowering initiatives. Before this role, he was a Construction Manager at RES where he led major projects such as the 492 MW Maverick Creek Wind Farm and the 200 MW Montague Wind Project, managing all construction activities and stakeholder interactions, including owners, landowners, and local communities. David spent over a decade with Mortenson Construction as Superintendent II, where he played a key role in delivering numerous wind projects across the United States and Canada, including both greenfield installations and repowering efforts. During this time, he developed and implemented field training programs, optimized construction processes through lean methodologies, and led initiatives that significantly improved safety performance and operational efficiency.
Benjamin Clevinger
VP Preconstruction & Estimating
Benjamin “Ben” Clevinger brings over 20 years of experience in construction estimating and project execution, with a strong focus on utility-scale wind energy and complex concrete infrastructure. His background spans general contracting, civil construction, and renewable energy projects, where he has played a key role in both greenfield development and the repowering of existing wind assets. Ben has extensive expertise in preconstruction, cost estimation, and project planning for large-scale EPC and Balance of Plant (BOP) scopes, including foundations, site work, collection systems, and turbine erection. His experience includes full turnkey wind farm delivery as well as repowering initiatives, such as generator replacement and modernization of operating wind facilities, where precision estimating and execution planning are critical to minimizing downtime and optimizing asset performance. Currently serving as VP Preconstruction & Estimating at TVIG and American Helios Constructors, Ben is responsible for developing competitive and accurate project estimates, supporting strategic bid development, and aligning construction methodologies with project budgets and schedules. His ability to bridge field execution with preconstruction strategy ensures efficient project delivery and strong financial performance. Prior to rejoining TVIG, Ben served as Chief Estimator at Unlimited Concrete Solutions and held key roles with White Construction and Baker Concrete Construction, where he contributed to numerous wind projects across North America. His project portfolio includes utility-scale developments such as the Lake Winds Wind Project (100 MW), Cirrus Wind Farm (63 MW), Astra Wind Farm (156 MW), and Crossing Trails Wind Farm (156 MW), among others. Earlier in his career, Ben developed a strong foundation in large-scale structural concrete and industrial construction, leading estimating and pre-construction efforts for major commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Ben holds a degree in Agricultural and Construction Systems Management from Ohio State University. His combined expertise in estimating, construction execution, and renewable energy infrastructure positions him as a key contributor to the successful delivery of both new-build and repowering wind projects.
