Electrical Superintendent
The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations of TVIG electrical subcontractors to ensure conformance with Safety, Quality and Schedule requirements. Additionally, the Electrical Superintendent will direct the daily activities of TVIG Electrical Inspectors to support these operations. Construction scope includes wind turbine electrical systems, underground and overhead collection systems, substations, transmission lines, and SCADA systems. Position does require extensive travel outside of the Chattanooga area.
Civil Engineer
The civil engineer position scope of work includes oversight and coordination of the project civil features. The field work will involve coordination of multiple interfaces and tasks, as well as day-to-day problem solving.
NOTE: This position requires engineering training and knowledge in order to accomplish effective oversight and coordination of subcontractor activities. Production of original engineering calculations and design/analyses will not typically be required. There will be considerable guidance and mentoring from more senior engineers to help with a fairly steep learning curve. Position does require extensive travel outside of the Chattanooga area.
Civil Inspector
Field inspection of civil features, including concrete batch plant operations, road construction, excavation, reinforced concrete placement, trenching, and other activities associated with heavy construction. Completion of records. On the job training will be provided. Position does require extensive travel outside of the Chattanooga area.Electrical Inspector
Field inspection of electrical features, including medium and high voltage system components, installation of overhead and underground cable, and grounding systems. Also some inspection of I&C components. Completion of records. On the job training will be provided. Position does require extensive travel outside of the Chattanooga area.Project Scheduler
Maintain project schedule. Field tracking of material deliveries, storage, and installation. Completion of records. Position does require extensive travel outside of the Chattanooga area.
